Otherworldly Guilin Travelling by high-speed train, we arrive in Guilin, home to the magical Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill. Discovering Chengdu In Chengdu, we visit the ancient Wenshu Monastery and Kuanzhai Alley. Ancient Xi’an Transferring to ancient Xi’an, we visit the historic Great Mosque and the lively Muslim Quarter. On Day 9, we marvel at the UNESCO-listed Terracotta Army, buried with the first emperor of China, and visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, a well- preserved symbol of the Silk Road. Days 10-12. Exploring Beijing Arriving in Beijing, we stop at Tiananmen Square, the infamous site of the 1989 protests. We discover the 15th-century Temple of Heaven and the mysterious Forbidden City on Day 11. On Day 12, we visit the mesmerising Great Wall of China, exploring the towers and parapets before a special dinner at a Peking duck restaurant. Day 13.
