Days 1-3. Arrival in Cape Town
Your tour begins with an overnight 
flight to Cape Town. On arrival on 
Day 2, we transfer to our hotel 
near the famous V&A Waterfront.
Driving to the Cape of Good Hope 
on Day 3, we enjoy a ride on the 
Flying Dutchman Funicular and visit 
pristine Boulders Beach, home to a 
colony of Africa’s native penguins.
Days 4 & 5. Cape Town’s sights
Today, we take a cable car up Table 
Mountain, one of South Africa’s 
most iconic landmarks, then enjoy 
a South African braai (barbecue) 
lunch and a wine tasting, savouring 
acclaimed varieties. Day 5 is at 
leisure to explore Cape Town.
Days 6-8. Aboard the Blue Train
Follow a butler to your private 
cabin aboard the iconic Blue Train, 
enjoying lavish dining and wines. 
On Day 7, the Blue Train arrives in 
Kimberley, where we discover the 
history of the diamond rush before 
reboarding our elegant train. On 
Day 8, relax as the train passes 
through stunning scenery.
 
Days 9-11. Wildlife in Kruger Park
Today, we take a coach to Kruger 
National Park. Settle in before 
enjoying a welcome drink and 
dinner. On Day 10, we are joined by 
a skilled ranger for a trip through 
the open savannah. Another 
full-day safari on Day 11 brings a 
chance to spot the Big Five in their 
natural habitat, as well as other 
species, large and small. Kruger’s 
plant life is also fascinating, with an 
array of trees, plants and flowers. 
Day 12 & 13. Homeward bound
We journey to Johannesburg’s O.R. 
Tambo airport, for our overnight 
flight home. Your holiday concludes 
on Day 13 as we land in London.
