Discover the best of Canada on this epic journey 
from cultured Vancouver on the Pacific coast 
to picturesque Halifax on the shores of the Atlantic.
Days 1-3. Arrival in Vancouver
Your tour begins with a flight from 
London Heathrow to Vancouver, 
landing the same day. We embark on 
a sightseeing tour on Day 2, visiting 
Gastown and Stanley Park. On Day 3, 
we explore Vancouver Island, enjoying 
the picturesque Butchart Gardens and 
the charming capital city of Victoria.
Days 4-6. Discovering the Rockies
Embarking on a scenic coach journey 
along the Fraser Valley, we stop at 
the historic trading post of Hope on 
the way to the quaint village of Sun 
Peaks. Day 5 brings more incredible 
scenery, taking us to the small town 
of Clearwater on our way to jaw-
dropping Mount Robson. We arrive 
in the mountain town of Jasper in 
the evening, enjoying free time to 
explore its charming streets. On Day 6, 
we venture into the UNESCO-listed 
Jasper National Park by coach, soaking 
up views of pristine Maligne Canyon, 
Medicine Lake and Maligne Lake. Look 
out for the area’s wildlife, including 
mule deer, moose, eagles and ospreys.

YOUR ITINERARY
Days 7-10. VIA Rail’s Canadian
Boarding the iconic steel carriages 
of the Canadian, we settle in for 
an epic three-night ride across 
Canada to Toronto. Following the 
Athabasca River, we cross into Alberta, 
admiring serene lakes and remote 
settlements. We traverse the wild 
plains of Saskatchewan on Day 8, 
enjoying views of vast grasslands from 
panoramic windows. Day 9 takes us 
across the Canadian Shield, a rocky 
landscape with primordial lakes and 
thick forests. We arrive in Toronto’s 
grand Union Station on Day 10 and 
enjoy a free evening in the city.
Day 11. Spectacular Niagara Falls
Today brings one of this tour’s 
highlights: a full-day excursion to 
Niagara Falls. Wearing protective 
ponchos, we set sail on a cruise to 
get closer to one of the world’s most 
impressive natural sights. We marvel 
at the thunderous falls from above at 
Table Rock before concluding our trip 
with free time to stroll through the 
pretty town of Niagara on the Lake.
Days 12-15. Historic Québec City
Journeying on VIA Rail’s Corridor train, 
we enjoy an overnight stay in Montreal 
before continuing to Québec City on 
Day 13. A tour of the city’s historic 
sites on Day 14 is followed by a trip 
to an authentic sugar shack where 
maple syrup is produced. After a 
three-course lunch inspired by this 
Canadian staple, we return to the city 
in the evening. Enjoy Day 15 at leisure 
before we board VIA Rail’s Ocean for 
an overnight journey to Nova Scotia.
Days 16 & 17. Charming Nova Scotia
We arrive in Halifax later today and 
check in to our four-star hotel near the 
old port. Exploring on Day 17, we visit 
iconic Peggy’s Cove, the quaint village 
of Mahone Bay and the UNESCO-listed 
harbour town of Lunenberg. 
Days 18 & 19. Homeward bound
Enjoy time at leisure in Halifax before 
we transfer to the airport to board 
our flight home. Arriving at London 
Heathrow on Day 19, your memorable 
discovery of Canada comes to an end.
