Days 1-4. Arrival in Beijing
Your journey begins with an 
overnight flight to Beijing. Arriving 
on Day 2, we meet our English-
speaking guide and transfer to 
our hotel. On Day 3, we explore 
a section of the renowned Great 
Wall. Day 4 brings a tour of Beijing’s 
landmarks, including Tiananmen 
Square and the Forbidden City.
Days 5 & 6. The Silk Road to Xi’an
Travelling by high-speed train, we 
arrive in Xi’an. On Day 6, we visit 
the UNESCO-listed Terracotta Army, 
then visit the Great Mosque in the 
Silk Road-era Muslim Quarter. 
Days 7 & 8. Discovering Chengdu
Today, we travel to Chengdu, where 
we check in to the city’s oldest five-
star hotel. Day 8 brings a visit to 
the Panda Research Centre, home 
to China’s iconic giant pandas, red 
pandas and other rare animals.
Days 9-11. Cruising the Yangtze
After a tea ceremony in People’s 
Park, we travel to Chongqing to 
board our five-star ship. On Day 10, 
we stop at Shuanggui Hill National 
Forest Park while Day 11 brings 
an excursion along the Shennong 
Stream, before a cabaret show.
Days 12-14. To Shanghai
We visit the incredible Three Gorges 
Dam then board a high-speed train 
to Shanghai. Day 13 takes us to 
Zhujiajiao, where we visit a silk mill 
and the Ming Dynasty Garden of 
Cultivation. On Day 14, we enjoy a 
tour of Shanghai before an evening 
cruise along the Huangpu River, 
for views of the iconic city skyline.
Day 15. Homeward bound
Riding the Maglev in First Class to 
the airport, we board a flight to 
London Heathrow, where your tour 
of China’s wonders concludes.
