Grand Safari Tour of Kenya 36 Days 1-4. Nairobi to Samburu Your holiday begins today with a flight from London to Nairobi. Transferring to Aberdare National Park on Day 2, we enjoy lunch on a slope of Mweiga Hill. On Day 3, we continue to Samburu National Reserve for our first drive. Day 4 brings both morning and afternoon safaris to spot Samburu’s wildlife. Days 5 & 6. Lake Naivasha Cruise We head to Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley, then on Day 6, we embark on a half-day wildlife drive and enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha, famed for its birdlife. Days 7-9. Maasai Mara Reserve Today, we transfer to the renowned Maasai Mara for a safari to see the spectacular wildebeest migration, as well as Africa’s ‘Big Five’ that can be spotted here. Day 8 includes a visit to a traditional Maasai village to discover their culture and a safari, before a free day on Day 9. Days 10-12. Oloolua to Amboseli Departing Maasai Mara, we head to the Oloolua Forest to hear local folk tales, then visit the Giraffe Centre to hand-feed the giraffes. On Day 11, we reach Amboseli National Park at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. All of Day 12 is spent out on safari. Days 13-15. Taita Hills Sanctuary We set off for Tsavo West National Park, stopping at the Shetani lava flow and Mzima Springs, before an afternoon safari. There are two safaris on Day 14, then Day 15 sees us head back to Nairobi on the Madaraka Express, where we transfer to the airport for our flight. Day 16.
